These goats really work. I use the milk for cheese and soap, and other things. I milk by hand and expect lots of good tasting milk and nice manners on the stanchion.

June 4th kids

Here are the lovely twin girls born today. These girls are just about an hour old here, I'll post more in a couple days when they are romping around and bouncing *U*

Mimi is mahogany red with with white spashes and swirls and black trim. Her ears look so funny, and considering the great ears in her genetics I'm a little surprised by the "plane" effect, but they are nice and long, and should be fine.

This little girl is Honey, and she looks so much like her grand sire, Handsome Rob, my Sandbur buck. Isn't she pretty? She's white with red roan and black trim like her dam.






Here's Praise with Mimi in the isleway of the barn. Mimi is about 3 hours old here.
