These goats really work. I use the milk for cheese and soap, and other things. I milk by hand and expect lots of good tasting milk and nice manners on the stanchion.

Another Set of Twins~

A littel doeling. I named her Peach from a character in Lonesome Dove and because of her color.

The buckling (will be wethered as a pet) named Gus, also from a Lonesome Dove movie character.

Both of them together

We've Got Kids!

It was worth the wait! Twins. Another blue roan and white boy, this one nicer that the one born last year to the blue roan doe. Libby has better bloodlines and a nicer udder. These aren't the best pictures, but were literally taken within minutes of the birth, get what you can take right then.
Libby is my favorite doe, and I am delighted that she has given me a little girl that looks so much like her.

I'm retaining the doeling, of course *U* The buckling is the blue roan and white with frosted ears. He's big, spunky, and got them long ears from Handsome Rob. Nice little boy! I'll sell him as a buck if he's payed for before he's 8 weeks old. He's the only Nubian buckling I will have for sale this year.

Waitin' on Libby

to kid! I stayed up all night waiting...and I'm still waiting. I have heard that if a doe is a couple days late kidding she's got does in there! Let's hope that bears out true.
